heres some of the code from the original thread about multiple cameras in dbc

the important bit is the stuff in the cameras: section basically what is hapenning is the camera is jumping rapidly around the four camera positions, what it sees is then drawn to a smaller 3d area using the set camera view command.

I think it's cool how you can change the background colour each time you change the camera position and you get 4 different colours in each window.

402 fps for me, but I think it may times that by how many times the camera is placed, so 100fps maybe. Yeah, the multiple camera thing does bring the frame rate down a lot.

check this out guys i made a 2 player split screen game in dbc!!!
its called tag! each player controls a cube in first person perspective and you have to run around trying to catch each other, two types of power ups speed and invisibility, they last until a tag is made.

controls:
player 1-top view
left right up down cursor keys

player 2-bottom view
w,a,s,d keys

its not that great but it uses hamishes technique so just try it, runs in dbc but i could compile to an .exe for pro, you need a matrix texture for it to work.
power ups are just rotating untextured plains.
hope you like it

Cool! Its anoying how when you split the screen ito 2, the view gets stretched, maybe you can use cam fov to fix it or something?

score 4326!

WHAT A RUSH!

Won't run for me in DBP for some reason, but the frame rate in DBC is very good still!

Current Projects: Game Spawn 85%, mini BSP maker 50%, Height Mapper with many features 75%, Space Tactical (Like BC300AD) 15%.
