I believe you have to buy the full version to have that ability...

Yes, thats how I model. It's good to have milkshape to export it to .x format. I made a glock in sketch up and yes you do need pro version (full version)

actully if you export .kmz and import it into blender and export it to .x

get the trail version of sketchup

and the free version...

Do all your modelling in the free version, once yoru happy with it, save it, and then open up the trial version, and just export it. then immediately close the trial version so you dont waste all your trial time....
