Hi, let's say I created a stone texture in the gimp, and I wanted to also have a normal map for that object, how would I make it??

Thanks,

This is a plug-in for gimp that automatically normal maps textures and allows you to change them, add specular maps, etc.

(Link is too long, you get a ... in the middle of it, so you will have to C&P.)

I looked at crazybump, and that may be your thing, it's a neat little application, here are a few screens. (You can edit how strong or weak the bumps are and more, and you can do displacement/shadow maps as well.
