Hi I am using light sources in my game, I will place a light source on the wall and put the light near it to add the effect that the light is coming from say the thing on the wall. Well When I test my game the light source on the wall is all black and white and weird looking the texture is like all messed up. I have tried with diff Sci-Fi wall textures and no dice. I have the latest version of DX and a good vid card. Running FPSC v1.04 it says in the help

edit: when I start up FPSC it says 1.05...

I have the same problem when i use the Sci-Fi stock media.

I think it is because of the shaders.
Never tried it but maybe you'll have to turn the shaders of.

hi.
not sure if its the same problem but yesterday my lights completely stop showing on my map. i uninstalled the update v1.04 and reinstalled it, it solved the problem, it should be in your add-remove. also when trying to give the effect light is coming from alamp entity i tend to put light just infront of it and not inside actual lamp, or over overlap the lightbulb icon, things got messey when i did.

fpsnut i have a diff light prob where my lights ingame are totally not there :/ now you mention that... its only started after i installed 1.04 i will try to reinstall. thanks for the idea anyway
