As of some time yesterday Darkmatter was changed over so that none of the packages contain 3ds format anymore, as well as anyother model format for that matter. They edited the pages and took out 'other popular model programs' and just stuck in 'includes .X format' now.
I'm abit upset over this whole thing as when I made my purchase It still said that other file formats were included, However this morning when I got the download approval and downloaded the package I found that the package was a setup file, inside a self extractor, inside a zip file. I ran the setup and found that the only model formats included in the package were darkBasic's X format.
Being that I wanted to use the models for a different gaming engine I feel I've been abit screwed over with them making changes last night.
so now I can't use the models at all and am 40 dollar poorer.
Oh btw people forget abou asking a presales question, the form also seems to be 'broken' as when you fill in any information into the form it always seems to come up with a page 'error, your missing fields'
