So I had the bright idea to model a arwing in HexaGreat 2, I do love its simplicity

Anyways; now that I've made my model, I'm stuck with the file format .rok (T_T)

Spending a good part of my afternoon just trying to find a way to open this in anim8or, or just to make it a 3ds or x file so i can use it in Darkbasic .

Any ideas would be nice.

This link will convert it to LWO which is Lightwave's file format. I would think from their you could import into milkshape, and then export it. If you'd like I could try for you.

The forums reject %'s so just copy and paste. It will download the zip to convert to lwo.

I actually own lightwave6 but It's not installed right now.

You needed to put the .rok model in the same path. Than you run the program from the command-line (command prompt) using the following form. Note: I renamed your file to make it easier

rok2lwo arwing2.rok

it then converted it to .lwo

I'm going to import it into milkshape, and then i'll try to export it. I'll let you know in a minute.

And in .x!

Not sure if this exported correctly. I had trouble opening it in directxviewer.

Your welcome. I should have mentioned it when I posted the link.
I hope the exports worked. The .lwo and .3ds looked good. Not sure about the .x

It's hard for me to tell in MilkShape sometimes if the all the normals are right!

Well it looks awesome in anim8or, I have no idea what they'l look like in DB. My models always seem to take a turn for the worse once there in a program.
