Hi there,

I just bought and got AC3D here, and I was wondering if someone knows what options to select when you are exporting your object as an .x object.

I'd want to have the .x object usable for DarkBasic, 3D gamemaker and FPSC creator and also I'd like the texture to be one of those wrapped around textures. (.tga I believe it would have to be? or .dds?)

If someone has some advice it will be greatly appreciated, I'm fiddling around with it and searching for the best way to do it.

AC3D looks like a great package btw. It's not just a converter but also a great editor and it supports the Holy LightWave.

Just an update for the search (should anybody search for this) but I found a great help in this topic:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=104980&b=3

A tuturial for skinning your objects. The same applies for LightWave objects. Just save your objects, convert them with for example 3D Exploration (oldy but goodie, it even still works with LightWave 9.0 (!!!!)) to Wavefront .obj, use UVMapper (old free version works fine) like he explains in that tuturial and take it from there.

It works PERFECTLY. It's the ULTIMATE solution. Any LightWave user searching for this check that link, FINALLY the ultimate solution for the skinning problem.

Again thanks to the one who wrote that tuturial. Great work, great help.

PS It goes for DarkBasic, 3D Game Maker and FPSC creator, this works for ALL gamecreator products.... DDDDDDD

*joy*
