Team Requests, for the last time, Are - Not - Allowed.

Theres a reason your other thread was locked.

I can honestly say YES to all of your questions above. But:

1. You are not allowed to post team requests
2. You do not describe much of anything
3. This is the WIP board, for projects, not a company.
4. I have a job in software. <Redundent to reasons above, but listing another reason why I wouldn't>
5. You don't say which version of DirectX you speak of. The two main versions right now are 9.0c, and 10.

Cheers,

You ARE allowed to post Team Request under some extremely strict guidelines:

- You've got at least a basic engine or a extensive list of concept art which you upload.
- You've got an available concept plan, a game design document and a storyline which you also upload.
- You've got exact lines for what people you require, what you want them to do and what they'll receive in return (if anything), which you clearly state.
- You can show signs of being serious. A website, some progress, ect. will definitely help in how people see you.

Last tip: Be honest and realistic. Don't promise the sky as you cannot give it. Don't promise a percentage of sales as rewards as odds are you'll never make any. Don't tell 'em you're a company if you are not.

This definitely does not apply to your post. For a good example of a Team Request, check out this post.

download the video codec here, and you can then play the avi file .

The sample clip gives a tiny idea of the program.

I found this forum, and thought to check whether someone might be interested in working with us.

It is a co.

I didnt mean to offend anyone. Good programmers are difficult to find really, and I've had 10 years of searching and bad experiences. Its basically to do with tool creation, modular work etc, mostly to adapt graphic tools to an embroidery related perspective and functioning.
In the clip, you'll see how the 'eyedropper' tool found in graphics software, is adapted to function in embroidery software, and the general object based nature of the stitch representation.

The programmers Im looking for should be skilled in similar type developments of tools..functional capability etc.

We are genuinely hoping to add 2 programmers. The workloads will not be intense, but the programmers we hopefully get to work with, will hopefully become team members. The embroidery industry is small, but specialised, and its difficult to find people with the adaptive experience,or any knowledge of the commercial industry, so although that would be helpful, its not essential.

We are a few months away from launch, and the workload is now about finetuning, optimising and laying the platform for ongoing future developments.

bye
