Hey guys, I havent been on here for ages. I decided to get back to making my game "impure" the other day. I reinstalled fpsc but when im moving my mouse around the screen its really lagggy. Ill move the cursor a little bit and there is a 2 or 3 second delay, sometimes even longer. Any suggestions? All help is appreciated.

I can't think of anything rather than it's your system, but it could be somthing else I guess. I can only guess it's you system, tell me how much RAM you have and all the specific details needed to be able to tell if your computer is FPSC material. I can futher search this from there.

Ive only got 512 mb of ram, but it has worked before. It worked for about a year or something fine, then when I reinstalled after taking it off its started doing this. I know 512 isnt a lot but Im a music producer and it handles all my cpu hogging daws so im a bit baffled.
You dont think its anything to do with my ati settings do you? cos i had changed them around quite a bit since the uninstall of fpsc for a game.

AMD Sempron 2600+
1.82 Ghz, 512 MB of RAM
ati radeon 9600 sapphire atlantis pro

I have the same problem. It worked well a couple of weeks ago, but then suddenly it doesn't.


P.S. I have 1,6 gigs RAM, so I don't think it's my computer

I just thought what it could be, I got stalker the other week and had to mess with my pagefile settings to get it to run properly. Do you think it could be that?

I decreased the render shroud but it didnt make any difference, its not my computer coz it ran fine for a year or so on this same setup.

Hmm, ive updated my gfx card drivers, no point in going to direct 10 my gfx card isnt compatible. It still is the same with the new drivers, I dont know what to do. It couldnt be my mouse could it? I know its a longhsot but I cant think of anything else. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks.

I would go through the paging file settings, or revert to V1 of FPSC if you haven't already.

I have tried v1 and the update, both are the same. Ive changed my pagefile settings to what i thought they were previous but that hasnt worked. Can you give me some typical pagefile settings to try please. Im devostated I cant get back on my game. I got that sauerbraten but im not feeling it compared to fpsc.

K Ive tried that now mate, still not working. I have been putting up with it for a few hours, but its frustrating. Any more ideas anyone? Maybe if i try someobody elses pagefile settings.

Did U scan From Melware? maybe your pc is just to junked up now you might wanan Defrag OR maybe your game got crupt? Provide more info please!
