hi,
for this summer im starting my project of designing a rpg like stealth game (kinda like the thief series except more rpg like). anyways before i even touch the programming aspect i need some models to be made. im not that new to 3ds and im actually not bad with it, but iv never got any reall education with it so there are some things i don't know. when appling a texture to some parts of an object you can see a line were the texture stop and another begins (as shown in the picture). iv looked but cant find any tutorials on how to remove the line by doing somthin like blending the texture. if anyon could help me that would be great.

Your best bet here would be uv-mapping a single texture to the hilt, there are plenty of tutorials for this, maybe check Autodesk forums?

i did use a single texture, its just the way it folds, and because of the strange shape of the object i can not make it tileable
