I typed what I wanted to be said in TTS, and then saved the file, I placed a sound zone into my game and then changed it's sound into the saved file made with TTS. I built the game and when I walked in the sound zone nothing happened, can anyone explain what I am doing wrong?

Is the sound file in the audiobank folder?

-What file type did it save as?
-Where did you save the file?
-Did you browse and find the file in the zones sound properties or did you type it in?

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

I didn't save it anywhere, I just saved it. I saved it as a avi, do I need to save it as a wav? How do I do that, I just typed in .avi at the end, is that what I am supose to do? I just typed it in.

If you want to use the file in your game, you'll need to be able to tell your game where to find it. I'm not sure where you're saving it either, but it needs to go in the audiobank folder.

TTS, or text-to-speech files should be saved as a .wav file. It is a sound file, not a movie.

When you choose the sound file for your sound zone, use the browse function and select the file from the audiobank folder. Don't just type the name in the box because the program doesn't know where that file is.

Best.

I have one more question though, lets say I saved the file as beginning, if I wanted to save it as a wav file would I just type in beginning.wav instead of beginning?

Just type beginning, should default to .wav format.
