Duplex, if you know Fred and have seen it before, you would know this is how he models and textures. Look at his WIP games.
Fred obviously intended to do this for fun. Obviously he knows people are not going to use it for their next Far-cry/Half-life games. That character is meant for recreational fun use.
So it is silly to comment on the simple model or the (obvious) 5 minute GIMP job.
Other people, when they make such models, obviously dont intend those for such uses. They try hard on making those good looking and game-usable.
That is when criticism helps them. Since that is their hard-worked model, they need to know how to make those better next time.
Again, lets all leave the thread to its original matter and not get too much into this.
