Hi,
I'm working on a halloween style map with multiple detail textures.
I post a demo - not a game, just to walk around the terrain with a little ghost.
Collisions are very poor but I don't care for the moment: my interest is more on graphics. Anyway, if someone could help me to have decent collisions, he's welcome. We could make a team and release a little game on this map.

I'm downloading it now, I'll edit post once I've played it.

BTW graphics look sexy, but it's nothing without good gameplay

EDIT- Download works, but when I run the game it doesn't.. an error pops up saying it's missing a dll.

[ href ] LINK URL GOES HERE [ /href ]

If you type that without the spaces it will make a link

[ href ] http://www.google.com [ /href]

Without the spaces, becomes...

http://www.google.com

To add a custom name, you have to do this:

[ url= INSERT LINK HERE ] CUSTOM TEXT HERE [ /url ]

So this, when the spaces are taken away...

[ url= http://www.google.com ] Here's a link to google. [ /url ]

becomes...

Here's a link to google.

MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE THE "http://" and the "www." when posting a link

Anyway it looks pretty cool

Testing~ http://www.google.com

Bob~
It'll work for other sites but not the one you've posted bob.

EDIT- I think it's the link for the game is broken. Cause when I just copy and paste the link it says cannot find site.

The correct address:
http://edx88.free.fr/telechargement/Haunted%20house%20demo.zip

Can't link because of the %20's in the filename, I think. The %20's are basically how the internet interprets a single space.

The "Haunted house demo.zip" file has a capitalized 'H', that's why it said file not found. I'd recommend avoiding spaces in downloads, rename it to Haunted_house_demo.zip or something.

Nice demo. Like the halloween-style. You know, it would be very nice if you made an multiplayer deathmatch out of this, where you are ghosts and must kill each other and so on. But that's just an idea.

Prince of darkness: it's a .dbo object.
Tha_rami: thanks. The problem came from the spaces between words.
Mr X: good idea but I don't know how to code it. Never used multiplayer commands. Absolutely dummy in this part of prog.
If you feel like working on it,I'm ready for a team work.

I don't know how to code multiplayer either, but I would gladly work on an team for it. There are two computers here at home, and the tempest-plugin installed, so I've got no problem with learning it.

The thing is that I'm currently working on another, personal project, but I think I can work on both (got plenty of time, since I've finished school about two days ago).

You can mail me about it, or contact me on msn.

EDIT:

Ok, now I definetly know I want to do this multiplayer thing. Got an really nice idea about how to do it (actually I talked to a friend about it, and he inspired me), so I'm ready to hold my own project for this. Hope to hear from you.

Well, I've downloaded your demo. I must say it is by far the best terrain I've ever seen in DBpro.
And your map is very well designed. You've got a real talent, bob915.
Congratulations and keep us the good work.

Thanks a lot, I'm a little confused.
It's too much!
I also thank all the other people who downloaded my work and told me so much about it. Thanks again!
