Hi

I thought i'd post some work here not for criticism as such, because these are all quick sketches i did with ZBrush 3 so i won't be developing them much further.

One of the first sketches i did while testing the new subtools.

Just a quick head sculpt test.

My minotaur which i unfortunately lost (see here)

most recent work, i sculpted a ninja head...

...Then tested out the new polypaint tools.

There are a few more images on my blog and they are much larger because photobucket now resizes everything...

Cheers

Adam

Very cool, I still need to pick myself up a copy though, but like I said, I'll have it by Christmas (I hope) But I wonder how high in polies I can go with 512mb ram, apparently that was enough for the millions in ZB2, but the system requirements are 1gb...but as you said you can go much higher than before, I assume the same principle would apply my system.

nice work

why didn't you post your clannfear? (had a quick look at your blog) thats looking awesome so far.

Ive said it so many times before and I'll say it again, those new materials and shadows are brilliant.

Ive had some doodles myself, and im really impressed, the new rake tool is pretty amazing too

I have a gig of ram and i was running my Minotaur fine at 85 million polygons, i could easily sculpt the fine details with pretty much no lag.

Cheers, but i didn't post it because quite simple, i don't like it at the moment, its not as fun doing someone elses designs.

I absoloutely love the in viewport shadows, the new red clay and "Sculpy" materials are also pretty damn cool

Yeah i agree, lately i've lost a lot of enthusiasm to do work, i rarely get time to because of teaching and when i do all i can manage to pull out are a few quick sketches, i have a few drawings i did that i'm planning to sit down and commit to, i've not sat down and finished an entire model in ZB3 yet, i guess i'm still at that messing about stage.

Just a quick note, the woman model was created in max and ZB2, all i did for it in ZB3 is add the clothing.
