check to see your desktop dimensions are 16 or 32 and not 24.
what video card do you have btw?

Depending on what version of Windows you are using, you might also need to upgrade your version of DirectX.

Also make sure your 3D video card/chipset is actually enabled and has installed drivers. You can test this by completing this procedure:

- Click on Start, Run, type in DXDIAG and press enter.
- Then click on the Display tab. If the Test Direct3D button is greyed out, 3D is not working on your system.

You likely just need to properly install drivers for your video card.

At the direct3d thingy it says "not availible", why dont you try updating your directx thingy?

Are you by any chance running an emulator? Because this is the exact same problem I ran into when trying to get my games to run on a windows emulator. If you are, I think it would be best to just duel boot and you'd have no problem at all unless you aren't running an emulator.

no i took of some crap programs and soe games like wow and stuff.
(crap programs as in stardock, alcohol 120%, world creator, and that torque demo)

km nvm i had winvnc running and it made it screw up
