I'm new to FPS Creator and I have just started working with the program. Is there any way change it so that the player can be moved using the mouse or a controller, or is this not a feature currently available in FPS Creator.

I think I understand what u asking and If I do then Its not a FPS (First Person Shooter) but I have not been around long myself so it could be possible.

Currently you cannot change the way the player moves (IE: Keyboard to Mouse). You can only change the keys the player uses to move.

Perhaps your gamepad software can map the keyboard keys?
