I was wondering if I should buy Dark Basic pro.
I am really wanting to make a PC Game to sell but all the game makers I've tried aren't that good, or have loads of limitations of the types of games you can make.
Is this program easy?
How long would it take to make a small game?
How long would it take to learn the code?
Please give me your opinion on this product.

1) you should buy dbpro

2) there are no limitations to what you can make

3) the program is hard, but who said it was going to be easy? Most of the commands are plain english such as

make object cone 1,6

This makes a cone, size 6. But of cource when you gain a basis of knowledge for the program you start to understand, afer a few months of practice your making small programs before you know it!

4) To make a small game could take weeks, maby even months. But this amout of time should not discourage you, because as you should know, practice makes perfect.

5) To lear < all > the code could take a lifetime (so im told lol) but learning the code you need for a mini game for example is easy.

6) My opinion on the product is that it is brilliant, there is so much you can do! I reccomend that you download the demo at first, learn all there is to learn within that (code has its limitations on the demo ver) download some games people have made. Then make your decision, not all people have the time to make a game especially with such a program as this. Although I am not an expert as such i still find it a great program to use.

you can download games made with dbp and look what is possible to do with this language
but .. if you buy dbp, make a lot of small and useless programs before you begin a game, thus you'll learn how it work
