Hey

I just bought DP and it looks great. I was looking at all the examples and looked at the rigid body demo. I am not sure if it is working right, because all I see is the background, a ball, and two ropes. I am using vista so maybe that is the problem. I have uploaded a screenshot of it.

I have a dual boot PC so maybe if I run it on my WinXP OS it will work? I just would rather not install the drivers on it but nvm if it means it will work.

No...thats definately not right. That demo shoudl have wood planks between the ropes and a level mesh underneath and to either side of the bridge. Not sure what could have done that...

Nah, don't worry, all computers are different, as long as the problem is not substantial.

Thanks for the support though.

actually,I think I may know why its not working. What graphics card do you have? Are you running shaders with the demo?

Try not running shaders. Sometimes shaders can mess things up if the certain shaders aren't fully supported by your system. So check that. Then,if that doesn't work, try the reflections. Who knows. I'm sure theres a way to get it to work, because looking at your specs, your computer seems really good.

Yeah this is a nice computer and is about 6 months old. I will try without shaders.

EDIT: Ah! It works fine now! Also the FPS is around 300 aswell.
