I made a terrain in geoscape, exported it as a .x file.

The weird thing is, the mesh doesn't respond to light like it should.

I made another terrain in milkshape, exported it as a .x file also and its working normally with lighting and everything.

as you can see, there is a terrain mesh to the far left. Good lighting (thats the one from milkshape)

the house models and the tree also have good lighting.

Even the failed heightmap (the grey thing near the MS3D mesh) has lighting

But the surface on which the roung guy with the face is standing on, does not respond to light at all. It should respond by default. I played around with set object light/ ambient etc. but it doesn't work.

anyone have any idea what is wrong with this thing?

And why the hell can't Milkshape import .x objects? Shouldn't it do that?
