3 Dimensional Chat / why won't this import into blender?

i have a model that i want to edit/animate... but i have a question... why won't it import into blender? it is a monkey... and when i try to import it... it says: "Python Script Error: Check Console".... any idea why?

Why do they turn against me? Especially when i need them the most?

Do you use the version 3.44 because for some reason the export and import dont work so for now your going have to switch back, if your using 3.44, to version 3.43.

Thats weird 3.43 works perfectly fine for me but 3.44 is the one that doesn't work

1#: How do I find which version I'm using?
2#: There's a 3.xx version?? I thought it was 2.xx at the moment.

Yeah im pretty sure the latest is 2.44 and I have problems with import/export all the time. I had to download an older version of the script to export to .X, not sure about importing .x though. Blender is an awesome program but can be a pain that way.

Start up blender and let it boot up and a little screen will come up showing a picture and "Blender 3.43" or whatever version you are using.

Oops you right sorry about the mix-up everyone the newest version is 2.44 not 3.44.

The .X importer for 2.44 works well. There are some things that it simply will not load based on how complicated the mesh is. Can you view this .x model in the directx mesh viewer?

If you dont have python get it.
