Well I got slightly inspired by Tyrano Man's model competition, and decided to make this one. The rules are to create a level based on the month's theme.

This Month's theme: An average day in the workplace
Not an actiony level, but one of an average day. Think of it like half-life before things go haywire. A police officer is ok, as long as he doesn’t make any arrests and has a “Boring” day.

These Months Judges: (still need 4 more)
-Tales of A Fan (AKA Djtjj)
-
-
-
-

To apply to become a judge for this month post here, Judges are to judge out of twenty giving 5 points per each category below.

What will the categories be for judging?
-Craftsmanship, are there any over lapping areas? Are any areas blocked off by glitch? Is the level very laggy in some (or many) areas?
-Explanation, Was your goal and or setting explained well in the game? Could you understand what you hade to do?
-Artistic Merit, did the level maintain a feel? Did it look good? Was lighting used correctly? This doesn’t mean that if a level looks like it came from a N64 it gets a 1 that would award it points for maintaing a theme.
-Originality, Did the level have an original spark to it, whether it be Humor, Horror, sci-fi, story, or perspective.

Prizes:
The winner will get to pick the next month's theme if it is logical in any sense, if he requests something completely impossible (such a level of the entire planet), the request will be denied an he will have to pick another one, if he will continue such a pattern the judges will pick the next theme. The prizes will be divided up in the same manner as in the model competition, and will (hopefully) be donated as in there.

The deadline is August 3rd, entries are to be delivered in a built game form. Judges are expected to turn in judgements by august 10th. The competition begins as soon as you’ve finished reading this, so go ahead and make some levels!

(Note: I do know I’m not the first to do this, but I haven’t seen one like this in a long time)

1 Entry per person

Sounds like a fairly good idea. I might join in, seeing as I have tons of free time ahead of me.
I'd offer my upcoming model pack *hint, lol* for a prize, but seeing as I'm just around 15% done with it, it's no real use.

"Or perhaps we're just one of god's little jokes?"

Speaking as the one who ran the original level design competition for a long time I can tell you that you really don't have things organized and thought out.I don't mean it as an insult just as an observation from experience. You might check with those that run or have ran competitions for some pointers.
Good luck with your competition.
I am moving this to the Product Chat forum as it does not meet the requirements for Showcase.

Where is it, that you are going to store these games? You are going to have to have more than a gig web space to store them all.

Try these for storage:

150 MB

200 MB

Those are per upload, I haven't tied them, but it seems like you just upload the file and you get a link for the download.
