Well, after using the trial of DBP for 30 days, a friend very kindly sold me his copy of DB that he no longer uses.

However, the built in editor has the problem of no highlighting and it looks bad, and darkEdit, it doesn't have any of the "autohelp"... I don't know how to explain it.

Well... you know in DBP where you type in
"make object cube"

It'll show at the bottom Make object cube Object number,Size

With the inbuild editor you have to press F1 and then it opens in a new thing, and with DarkEdit you don't have that option at all!

Are there any which do have this feature?

Thanks very much,

E.D.

I dont think this is posible in any ide for dbc, except for the native ugly one. If i ever have some trouble with a command, i just look at it in the help file ...

Anyway, darkedit is the best (i think) ide for darkbasic, it's simple and easy to use...

Really, that auto-help would be a great addition for any DB IDE...
