I have this code (just the lines that involve the matrix here)

And I get a "matrix does not exist" error when it reaches the get matrix height command? Why?

I think Lucifer nailed it regarding the size of the matrix. The largest a single matrix can be is a total of 5000 squares or 10,000 polygons (2 triangles make up one square). To keep it square that's 70x70 tiles - you can squeeze out 70x71.

Enjoy your day.

You are just confusing Get Matrix Height with Get Ground Height.

Get Matrix Height gets the height at the tile intersection points and as such the X and Z values used cannot be greater than the tile width and height of the matrix.

Get Ground Height though, takes any point on the matrix so you can use Object X and Z positions with it.
