FPSC Classic Product Chat / Multi Player Objective Mode???

Has anyone ever gotten the "Complete Objective" option to work in a multi player arena game? I've searched all the forums and only found people saying to use win zones, but that didn't work for me in a test game or a finished exe's.

I've also tried using Dynamic switches, but they just animate. The game never ends.

Please help, I want to make a family-friendly game without guns.

It doesn't disable EVERYTHING dynamic - only objects that aren't immobile. And you don't always have to enter an IP address. Dang I need to get my MP Guide out soon....

As for your question, I don't think win zones will work, but an immobile pickup with an objective should. Try opening the fpe for say the ww2 map and setting (or adding) immobile = 1.

No, all dynamics are not disabled. I use doors and vents in my Multi player games. and if you ever played my game Prison Riot, I used animated search lights. The isimmobile=1 only means the object wont move from where ever you place it. But it's still dynamic. That's not my problem.

My problem is I want to make a Multi player game without guns. The players have to run through a level full of puzzles and the first to complete the objectives wins. But I can't get it to work.

Isn't that what I just said? But everything else IS disable, apparently, excluding characters - try shooting a normally dynamic box, it will leave a scorch, which can only happen on the level.

As for your win condition issue - Do as I said above. Open the FPE file for the ww2 map (should already have an objective) and modify/add immobile = 1. Now it should stay dynamic so you can pick it up.
