Nothing works. I am at my wits end. I have looked at absolutely every approach I can think of. If I'm not fighting limitations in Cartography Shop, then it's limitations and bugs in DBpro. I just want to scream. Has anyone out there had success using the following commands? I've detailed problems I've encountered, and would be grateful if there's a solution to be found.

LINK LIMB
- What exactly this function is doing, I cannot work out. It is clearly not doing what it's supposed to. It's as if it's linking limbs miscellaneously and then repositioning the linked limb.

MAKE OBJECT FROM LIMB
- Loses texture and positioning. Totally useless.

ROTATE OBJECT
- Rotates limbs about the object's origin. Almost certainly the fault of Cartography Shop's exported X file.

LIMB POSITION
- They're all 0,0,0 ...Useless. Again, probably the fault of CShop's X exporter.

Heeeeelllllppp!!!!

Don't hang me up on it, but I don't think CShop was made for character modelling

I think DBPro get it's link information from the bones skeleton or hierachy inside the X file, and I'm sure CShop's exporter creates none of these. (After all, it only exports the raw geometry).

If you are doing characters, try milkshape which is cheap, easy and has an X-porter with limb information

Hope it helps some.

Believe it or not, "limbs" apply to more than just characters. I need to be able to open doors in my game map, and that means either rotating or translating LIMBS.

CShop does not appear to export limb information as it should, so when I try to work with the limbs that contain my doors, they do strange and awful things.

I may just turn to MilkShape to make the necessary adjustments to CShop's exported X files.
