I have a Mac and I ran into the same problem, you have 2 options but before you read please note that all the following information is based on my experience. Perhaps, I am wrong somewhere for some reason but this is the knowledge from experience I acquired while setting up Darkbasic on my Mac and maybe it can help you.
1) Simply install windows using Bootcamp and duel boot the Mac.
2) Or, if cutting up hard dives isn't your thing, why not try an emulator of windows to run games you made. There are also emulators out there that allow Macs to run not Windows but .exe files except they are often limited and the chance that it will work with a game is about half. The only thing with emulators is that some of them may not support Direct X so you really need a lot of patience (and time!).
Personally I say install Bootcamp, its fairly simple and if your interested in making games for Mac users most people with macs have bootcamp anyway. There is a very in depth tutorial on setting up bootcamp as well.

Interesting info on opening exes on the Mac.
On another note, Darkbasic does
not work with emulators. The exes you make can (but not necessarily) work with emulators but I found that Darkbasic itself works only when the computer is duel booted.
Cheers and Good Luck!
