Hello again, I was working on a bit of code and had some detail maps with a magenta background and black text. I used Set Image Colorkey to make magenta the transparent color, and that works fine.

Unfortunately, black is also transparent still! Is this a known issue, or is there some way to make sure black isn't transparent on a 3d object?

You can use 11,11,11 as black (first value that isn't treated as transparent), or you can use transparent PNG files with an alpha layer. The second option is the better one, it allows you to create anti-aliased edges.

aha! Thanks for the tip. Normally I would use alpha maps but I am doing some excercises from a book.
