I have just tried putting a weapon into my level and this happens (see pic)

Instead of smoke decals I get white squares coming off the end of my gun! I havnt changed any gamecore files or anything like that.
Wots goin on?

Anyone?

EDIT: No worries. I found the problem. Somehow the smoke1 decal was deleted but I can get it back

I wander if, assuming this forum is still around, in 5 years time the "vets" will be remembering the "strange post" .

He's on post approval, and his post hasn't been approved yet.

Why did it show up here?

If he is on post approval his post should not show up until it has been approved.

Seems to me a bug in the system.

I wonder if he wrote it out, then pressed STOP at just the wrong moment after posting... I know that's a good way to get a double post accidently...

You can edit your posts if you are post approval status. When you edit the post it has to be approved again.
You apparantly have the wrong number specific for the smoke value in your weapon's gunspec file. The number must match the number of one of the existing smoke decals or you get the white square bug.
