Mainly inspired by the Challenge Raven thread we should have challenges much like the DBP challenges or prehaps like the challenge raven thread but scores are kept here for what is thought of as a good success.

post what you think of the idea.

you mean something like themes someone has to model in order to achieve better modelling skills and recieve recognition...kind of like the current TGC 3D Modelling Challenge ans the DBP coding challenges like the 20-liner

I think as far as challenges go, we have enough in my opinion - a second alongside 3D one wouldn't be practical as those who are interested in these are few in numbers. But nice thought though

I'm kinda confused about the modelling challenges, and I want to try some because I'm not the best modeller. Is that Tim Burton one still going on or is there a new one, or have we been between challenges for like a week or what?

I think the idea is good because the contestant will be bombarded with choices which he can choose from.

Indeed, but it's a dilemma when you have a lack of contestants, look at the Tim Burton one, 3 people entered, it would work if we had more people entering each time.

@Brain - it's currently in the voting stage - it would normally be made more clear, but we've just had a switch with those running it andwell Moondog's life has caught up with him and at the moment it's a joined effort running it.

Normally we have the 'main' thread - which is always there - has the rules etc. a Work In Progress thread and the entry thread, where the end is announced and people can vote afterwards - then the winner is announced, all in the same thread. That's how it was when I was running it, I haven't really kept up to date with exactly what Moondog is changing from when I passed over the job.
