The hide window command works fine, but when I use show window the window doesn't show.
Please note that I did use the SET WINDOW ON command.

Did someone say 3D scanning on my desk, or was that just an AdBot?
What happens when when you mix coke, pop rocks, vinegar, and baking soda?

Is this just the show/hide window command, or do you have other code as well?

The below sentance is true.
The above sentance is false.
Paradox!

@ Sinani201

I tried to duplicate the problem you are having but could not; mine worked fine. Could you post the pertinent code?

DBC only has one window, but you can print to the screen separately. The problem is that when you hide the window, DBC seems to get hung up (I have not looked through the bug reports to see if it is an issue). The only way I could get it to work was to set the window off (not hide it).

In your code, I would not make the window until the time and date are what you want. If you are going to do other work with the screen after that, I think you will have to set the window off first.

Well, that's not the full code. It's supposed to be a program that you can set a time, the program hides the window, and it pops back up when it's that time. When you set the window off, doesn't that put it in full-screen mode again?

I could not get it to work like that (though it seems like it should). Why don't you just wait until the alarm goes off to create the window? I know when I was testing your program and working to find a solution I had to reset my computer twice because it was making everything work real slow.

I believe the command you're looking for is:
always active on

This command causes DB to remain processing when the window is inactive (ie hidden or minimised). This is not the default behaviour. To restore the default behaviour (stop processing when the window is inactive) use always active off.

I don't think this command is an enhanced version only command either, so it should work for you...

Edit: Of course, put the always active on, before you hide the window...

Even if it is enhanced I could still use it because I have the enhanced version!

Thanks, SimSmall, now my alarm clock works!!!! Hooray!!

You didn't have to restart your computer. If you use a Windows XP you could go ctrl+alt+delete, go to the task manager, use the processes tab and close the DB process (not the darkedit one!). You'll get a warning dialogue box, just press OK.

@ SimSmall

I knew that command was there, but didn't know it would do that. Thanks for the tip!
