how would i go about resetting or repairing FPS creator so i can reinstall update 1.0.4? i made the HUGE mistake of updating to 1.0.6 and now i cant test/build game...

i dont want to get rid of any of my maps ive made, or any custom entities/segments or any of that, i just want to go back to 1.0.4

i have tried uninstalling the updates, deleting the fpscreator.exe and all of that and reinstalled it all and it is still messed up

WHOS THAT??!?!? oh yeah...its that guy!

Go to the V.106 installer (or Control Panel>Add and Remove Programs) and choose remove. It'll uninstall, and then download 1.04, and install it.

Weird, I've had v106 for a few hours now, and it runs superbly on my rig.

Every computer is different so go by what you have, and they are beta's so don't install on something you plan to you use every day.

If that doesn't work, back up your entitybank, texturebank, scriptbank, and any other folders with personal assets in, reinstall FPSC and then add all yours back in. Make sure it's exactly as you found it. Also, install 1.04 first, before any entities or anything

Try this.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.
