Every time I start the game exe, it won't start unless I'm connected to the internet. When I host a game, it's being hosted on a gamelist server on the other side of the planet. I only have one dial-up internet connection, so i can't connect both my PCs at the same time (even if I could it would be too slow). So how do I play over a LAN network?

it starts fine without an internet connection you just have to have the LAN ofperation at the time I have done it fine you just enter the local ip address for the other computer

Sorry man, doesn't work. It might be that my LAN is a direct parallel to another computer, not through a router.
