DarkBASIC Discussion / Help me please

im just starting to make video games so i came to this website and downloaded the DarkBasic program. and i dont fully understand how to use it. ive looked at tuts for it and all but i dont understand what anyone is talking about...

if someone could just... say some things simpler that would help.

May I suggest that you look at them the other way around.

As good as it is, the Monster Hunt tutorial starts nowhere near as low level as my introductory tutorials - not ideal for complete beginners to programming. For example, the MH tutorial doesn't explain what variables are - it assumes you know already. The same goes for the elementary commands.

Going through my tutorials 1 to 4 first (which cover the real basics) would make the MH tutorial a lot easier to understand. The rest would help, but are not essential for following the MH tutorial.

it did help me understand how darkbasic works though, and it was a good place for me to start..

but you should do what tdk said..
