When you buy it, it comes in a plastic case, with an instruction booklet and all that jazz from my online store for $15. Or we can make it with a paper case and sell it for $10. But I put a lot of work in it and want to sell it for $15... What do you guys think? Would you buy it?

It contains:

4 floors, outside (I suppose they would be grounds)

10 rooms

and 7 signs

What do you guys think?

Note: My weapons pack will be coming out soon also.

http://www.cafepress.com... You can only use one of each product unless your a member. But if you pay a monthly fee... It's worth it. You can make so many products, from shirts, to bags, to CDs and they make them and all they take out is what it takes to make the product. Read up before you join to see what's right for you, though... Any way thanks for that price realization. I can only sell the plastic case on for a minimum of $11, but I guess I could sell the paper on for $6. Thanks Anyone else have input before I make up my mind?

You seem to be asking folks to pay 5bucks for a jewel case.
Without any screenshots to show what the quality of the work you are offering is,it is impossible to say what it's worth.
Also without screenshot it is going to be impossible to say anything as this will be locked.
Suggest you get 'em up real quick

Sorry dude, need to make it more clear.
A screenshot in FPSC.
You would be better to sell your pack as a digital download, the file size for these models is going to be really small, and burning them to disc + postage is a waste of time and not cost effective.

He means a screenshot of ALL the rooms and ALL the signs. Thats the only way to tell if something is worth buying.

EDIT: plus the castle texture isn't seamless

Calm down
You asked what would be reasonable price for your pack,if the contents are a secret then how can anyone say.
Why keep your product secret anyway?

Firstly... I'm not mad at you guys, I'm mad at Tyranoman... I think he's a jerk... Secondly, Most of it isn't done. Thirdly, I'm waiting on approval from some outside parties before I can release any more screenshots... licensing issues and what not. I just want to know what most people usually sell there packs for.

Why? he said nothing offensive and only stated thet the texture wasn't seamless which was a fair observation.

Previously he flamed both me and a guy who was helping me after I asked for someone do an Aiko texture for me, and I think, after reading some of his other posts, he is a jerk!

Well whatever,I think these comments may have earned you a little moderation when a mod see's them.
No matter how you feel about someone it's not acceptable to start getting personal in this way, with the name calling

Yeah, well, you'll get flamed, too, Wraith.

You keep saying that Tyrano's this and that, then a mod'll come in here, and put you on moderated status. Personally, Tyrano, like others said here, is simply making an observation, which can help you. Apparently, anyone with half a brain could figure that out! He's helping you, not flaming you.

My observation (which you'll call flaming) is that how can that castle be bloody, when it's green? You probably meant that the castle was mossy.

I've made my point, but this guy will say that I'm flaming him anyways. This guy cracks me up.

You're going to have to do a lot better than that before anyone parts with their money http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&b=24&t=100489&p=0 and that pack's free!

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.

It's ok I see how you could of taken that offensively. When I went in caps I was just enphysizing that we couldn't value your pack unless we saw it all.

Forgive and forget

I won't buy anything unless I know what I'm getting...all of it.Trying to keep stuff a mystery isn't good for sales in the case of media you are making.
And people around here generally put out some stuff before they try selling things.
From what I can see you need to do some major work on this before you try selling it.
You can get free stuff that's better than this...no offense meant...it's the truth.
I have Signs and Magic FPS so I don't go wild over most segment/room packs when I see them (although there is the occassional exception) since I can make my own in a minute or two.
Personal attacks/calling someone names is not tolerated here.
I'm not trying to be mean or harsh.I'm just being honest.
These people are trying to help you.

yea , i agree with FredP , if you want to sell somethings you have to show it. Make vidios of it , give a good look for the buyer.
Then the buyer will be interested in the product.
And will give his last cent for it.

Anyway i wish you good luck with your model pack.

Only 10 rooms and 4 "grounds" for $6 is still too much in my opinion, you can find bigger, better packs for free out there....

But I wish you luck!
