I really want to model my own characters, but I cant find a free, easy,drag-and-drop type modeler. Anybody got any suggestions?

drag and drop? not sure what you mean with that

Best thing to try is blender. It's completely free and has an intergraded animator.
(video) tutorials on the site, other tutorials on wiki
exports to .x and .3ds

Hmm.... about Drag-and-Drop..... I meant a modeler where mostly all you do to animate is to assign bone groups and then to use the mouse to........animate. Sorry but thats the only explanation of drag-and-drop I can muster.

The products (such as Blender and my python script) are protected by copyright. Even if they are open source, they fall under certain protections and cannot be directly made available as a download without express permission from TGC. So maybe you should see if you can get the proxy disabled temporarily so you can download your applications directly from the respective websites.

Enjoy your day.

i tried blender. It is really cool, but at the time i didn't know that there was a plug in for the exporting of .x files. other than that blender rocks!

The problem with the gaming community is people think that the resolution of a game defines how good it is. I am not afraid to make a game where the main character is 50x50.
