Blood pack in progress. It will contain 10 blood overlays, and extras will be added on as we progress.

Pack will be FREE! Taking any final requests before we finish up.


Pack Will Include:


- 10 Red Blood Overlays

- 10 Blue Blood Overlays

- 10 Green Blood Overlays

- 10 Purple Blood Overlays
(each color has 6 Glossy blood overlays, and 4 dull blood overlays)

- 4 Blood Walls[/b]
(2 bloody, 2 normal)

- 4 Blood floors
(2 bloody, 2 normal)

- 4 Blood ceilings
(2 bloody, 2 normal)

- 4 Blood Rooms
(2 bloody, 2 normal)

- 4 Blood PS brushes

- 2 Bloody Scenery Models
(2 body parts)

- Photoshop Movie Tutorial
(Removing Black Outlines)

- 4 Bloody FootPrint Overlays
(will have 2 diffrent sets,
Also all colors will be included)

Thanks M Man, We received a reply in our other topic about creating some brushes to include our pack. Weve been thinking and thought it was a good idea. So we will be including some photoshop brushes with it also. Ill try to get some more ingame pics.
Anymore comments or suggestions?

The overlays look very good, much better than the original FPSC overlay, which I'm getting mighty tired of.

It does look pretty damn good...But i have a question, how did you avoid the black lines around it?

Ive tried like everything, making transparency around all of it, true black, alpha mapping, everything O.<

Actually there is black around it. Very fine line of black. Maybe a pixel or two. We are spending alot of time trying to make it perfect.
To get rid of the black lines, take black and basically get as close to the image as you can. We have many steps before and after that to get the results. Maybe we will include a step by step tutorial on this.

Thanks for your comments guys. Ill try to get a few more screenies for you as soon as i can. Just been working hard and caught up in my other projects at the same time. Keep the comments and suggestions coming. Any ideas are welcome too.

Yes we now have asorted colors. All 10 overlays will be Red, Blue, Green, and Purple.

Also we will be including colored blood for the rooms, and we will be including a few models with the pack. What will it be? that will be the suprise. For now all you can do is dream

Some great blood splats there. Ever thought about bloody footprints? May be 4 sets, ranging from full blood, through to very faint so it looks like they trail off?

Thanks we were gonna make this pack free when we first started because we didnt expect to go this far. But since were spending so much time on this, some price estimates would be great.

Do you mean are'nt? Im not sure how BloodDeath does his overlays, but we use multiple steps to get a high quality, smooth, and very limited outlines. Were actually gonna include a step by step video tutorial with the pack. Do we use Photoshop? Yes we are currently using Photoshop CS2.

Anything else anyone wanted to know? or any requests, suggestions?

Well I dont remember saying it was complicated.. All i said was it has multiple steps.

Just a tip for you game creators try and keep everything the same hue saturation and light, if you have any fading colors or fading alphas you get lots of black lines, it mainly just depends on how complicated your splat is, and if theres any fading lines or anything like that

Alright, dont get to angry, I wasnt really changing the topic to MY blood pack I was just saying that in MY blood pack theres no lines around MY blood splats.

Anyway "your" pack is looking good.

Yea we already ran into that problem a number of times. We found a pretty good way to get around it. Thanks for the tip

Ok, we have decided the pack will be FREE!
We thought we should give somthing to the community because we havent done that yet. So we will make this large blood pack free to use.
All we want is just credit to Blood Carnage Studios.
If you make a game with the blood pack please include us IN the game somwhere as a credit. Were taking any final requests for this pack before we finish up.

What I was saying is that if you hold control and click on the blood layer (assuming it's on it's own without the black), then go to select/modify you can contract the select a pixel or two, then there won't be any black lines, but that's just a theory.

Ok, well it shouldnt be to much longer before we finish up. Theres no more requests?
If not we will be done soon. Basically all we got left to do is to finish up the models, make the photoshop brushes, and create the movie tutorial on how to reduce black edges.

Well can you make blood like DOOM 3 with blood spelling, "BURN" "DIE" "SCREAM" "SUFFER" "PAIN" lol. You don't have to do this or all of it if any. I'd most like, "BURN, DIE, SCREAM."

well guys... Im not sure how to put this, but i caught a virus and i had to reformat. I couldnt keep anything on my computer or save it to a disk. Mostly because i couldnt turn on my computer. So basically i lost the bloodpack and everything i worked so hard on. Im not sure if i will be releasing it mostly because i lost it, and i dont really feel like remaking it all...
Maybe if some of you give me a reason to remake it then i might remake the bloodpack.
