I was wondering if it was possible to make a single player deathmatch games with AI.

I love Mario Games! And Futuristic shooter's and Rts's.

Yes and no.

You could make a single player DM level with AI, but the AI would not move around the level like it does in unreal tournament. The AI in fpsc sucks right now, but is meant to be getting upgraded after fpsc x10 comes out.

What do you mean not move around like in UT? Do you mean they wont pick up weapons or anything like that?

No, they'll only use the weapon they have, and will only move when you use waypoints.


If games were realistic, we'd have a run away option in FPS games, and RPGs with dead people who stay dead,etc.

well in unreal they dont move aound unless you put in path nodes.
If you want characters to move about you have to put pathing in, it doesnt matter what the engine is.
