I've got a fully functioning m1 Garand into FPSC using the Panda exporter for 3ds max. However, the weapon appears as if it is in the left hand. I have tried mirroring it in Max, and that just screws the positioning, doesn't affect how it appears in game. If anyone who has Max and uses the Panda exporter has a solution, I'd appreciate.

PS: I did search the forums, and it maxed out at 100 results with lots of combinations of questions. It's kinda ironic that the most commonly asked questions apparently can't be searched for.

Could you post a screenshot of what it looks like in-game? Then I might be able to help you.

Basically, it appears in the characters left hand on the left side of the screen, and using the mirror option in max does nothing. I just wanted to know if I could mirror the mesh in the fpe file (or some other method in Max).

Just ignore the other hand, you won't see it when I finalise the positioning.

I know this wont help too much unless you have it but Fragmotion works wonders for this sort of problem. It can mirror , rotate, flip, and repostition the whole model without screwing up the animation or the model. Works wonders, But you would also need milkshape to export it as a .x as Fragmotion's .x exporter sucks.
Nice screenie by the way.

Be sure to check the option for Left Handed Axis in the Panda options under X file settings.

Dunno if it's just me, but I think it looks cool left-handed.
