Hello to all. I am very new to the forum, but not new at all to DBC. I have had it for 4 years, but have not progressed far with it. In fact, the only real major thing I can do is text-based apps (calculators, questionaires) and landscapes.

I have created a landscape, and have set up camera movement controls, allowing the player to move forward, backwards, and rotate the camera in a full circle, allowing them to turn around. However, this is going to be a FPRPG (First Person Role Playing Game) So I need to have the camera attached to the cursor, allowing the player to look side-to-side, and up or down.

Basically, I want the games camera to work like the First Person camera in Half Life or Morrowind.

Thanks for your help.

Also, I didn't know how to word this post correctly, so I worded it to the best of my knowledge.

/\ /\ I tried the code, but ... The editor froze up, and when it did work, the camera did not move with the mouse.

Try this one then:

Place this at the start of the main loop (the one where your Sync is at the end).

Can you point out where to put it...

And thank you all for your help. I will probably upload my applications later, to show you what I can do really well.

I am much the same but I've already improved quite a lot from being on the forums (I've only been on a few weeks). You'll learn a lot quicker with the interaction you get on here .

Just try that on it's own first to see if it's what you are after.
