yes, this has been nearly a year in the making now (I had lots of uni work) it's so old that the original thread has been locked.

So yeah, I've rigged her now, she has 95(!) bones, going right down to the finger tips and her face.

its 4754 polys, which is a little bit more than I'd planned, but oh well.

here's a video of the first couple of animations, Idle and a run loop.

If you're wondering what this is for, I'm finally building a game, its gonna be a cross between equilibrium, Max Payne and maybe Rez (sort of).
Alexia is the main character, and for the sake of a few plot devises etc, she's a cyborg, so she can do loads of wicked cool stuff, like slow her perception of time, track targets without looking, super human strength... you know all the stuff that makes a game fun.

So, let me know what you think (again, if you've already seen this )

Looking very good.

Hair could still use a better texture, and maybe some more pronounced normal mapping, but looks great other than that.

I'm not paranoid. Stop thinking that I'm paranoid!

thanks you two,
aticper: you're right about the texture (although there's no normal mapping), I should have said that it was still WIP, its still pretty blurry in places, and the hair looks totally flat.

I've also had a look at the model in DBP, (its a 4meg .X file!!), and noticed she runs like a moron, so its back to the drawing board with that one.

Looks good, the hair is a bit flat, fingers a little too thin for my liking, and her camel-toe is kinda worrying - but it's shaping up nicely, kinda reminds me a bit of that Perfect Dark girl.

I think though, the clothing style you have her wearing is a mistake, looks too formal for an assasin type, I think she'd look much better in one of those zip-up tracksuit tops, like...

Not a great pic, but I've no idea what you'd call it - tight and zipped up would look better though I think, if you know what I mean.

i kinda get what you're saying, but I'm glad you think she looks formal, I was going for a fascist look (they always have nice uniforms). Maybe i should add a few gadgets and things?

I think overall, she needs to gain a few pounds everywhere.

I think i've fixed the camel toe since that picture, I'd un-assigned those verts from both her legs, and it caused it to go a bit mental.
