has anybody noticed a pretty serious bug when developing in VS2005. Basically after running a programe the widonws GUI is screwed up, directory navigation buttons (the file menu, back button search bars etc) arent redrawn, ctrl-alt-del doesnt work to bring up task manager, programes dont run from the start menu (with no errors being logged in the event viewer) they just load then disappear when trying to draw the UI.

If it helps it only seems to happen when running in windowed mode.

My initial thoughts are with how darkGDK releases any windows message hooks?

Looking at the forum I think it might just be a conflict on my rig.

sorry to bring this up guys but its best to know these things!

I'm still in the experimenting (and learning curve issues of C++) but I'm not having those issues in the Visual C++ Express - using the DarkGDK for C++.

sorry I should I posted an update. It can be fixed by making sure windows is currently upto date, as a measure I installed the service packs for VS2005 too.

Not had any problems since updating.
