Hi Everybody
I'm looking for a fire texture on a black background ie. for use in an explosion effect.
Sort of like the fire picture on the FPS demo which comes with DB (can be found in tutorials\source\fire.bmp or something like that...)
If anyone knows where such fire pictures can be found then please let me know

Thanks, Robin

-hey i'm in school and only have limited access to a comp

Is that why you couldn't insult me? j/k

I wasn't meaning to offend you

But yeah, the software is very easy...You're limited to 256x256 from what I've seen...I didn't play with it long enough to know if you can change that though.

Thanks very much actarus
How do you suggest using them in a 3D game?
I can load the bitmap, get all 16 pictures and then texture a plain with the pictures one after another, which runs OK, but I was just wondering if there was a faster way to do it

Thanks
Robin

Well it can't really get as fast as that unless you skip the for-next loop used to Get Image and cut them precisely yourself in a paint package...Other than that you may ask someone to render you some higher rez images using 3dsmax's combustion, everyone seems to have it.
