when I start the player with the Tommygun (also the MP40 and the Colt, maybe others too, except for the MAS who worked) the gun doens't show any textures, its totally grey.
how to fix this?

check the textures have been copied to the folder, if this is in test game, reinstall and then upgrade to a newer version

second try to post, seems the mod blocked the first attempt
I found the solution, delete whatever is after "effect=" in the gunspec
