3 Dimensional Chat / 3DS to DBO animation conversion problem

I have encountered a problem trying to export animated characted from 3D Studio Max 7 into 3DS object. The object opens in Konvurd and plays the animation but the link restraints don't seem to work.

What is the best way to export animation cycles out of 3D Studio Max and convert them into DBO format? Through X or something else? How have you overcome this problem?

i use a mixture of kW export and panda export to make my .x files from max.

kW is the better one, it can support the skin modifier and physique, whereas panda can't handle skin.

panda is easier and simpler to use and is available for every version of max, I'm not sure if kW exists for max7

I don't have a sig, live with it.

SO FI I ANIMATE a charector using the skin modifier will it keep the animation if i export it as an x file.
