hey all i'm currently working on a new game at the moment, kinda like an adventure game for a signature character. I've been making stickmen comics ever since i was young and after watching loads of stickmen flash movies on the web i've been inspired to take it up again but in the form of a game i'm working on the editor at the moment (which is not completely finnished). heres a pic:

what your seeing is the basic gui with 3 different layer grids (matrics) they serve as guidelines for placing the different entities of the game. you know how 2D games are basically divided into the gameplay plain and background plain, well you design the gameplay plain using the editor and then select a background from 3 or more preset backgrounds (also working on now).

I decided to make the editor this detailed so when i finally do release it to the public i won't have to go back and make it user-friendly anyways, more pics will come as i progress oh yeah, it's being made in dbclassic.

thanks guys yeah modelling the stickmen will be pretty easy unless i add extra complex parts (which i'm planning on doing) but animating them would be hell

it's straightforward, I just got the wrong idea. Never fear I know what you are talking about now!

Hey, i've been working on the logo for "Xan the stickman" and i would like some constructive criticism on it. I was going for a very simple look, using a basic grey scale, I didn't want to add much colour since original stickmen where drawn using black/grey and on white paper. The text reads "the stick man", i used some asian kanji-like font. so tell me what you think...
