I've been working on getting human organic modelling down, keeping the mesh true to muscle flow and such. I've gone over a few tutorials, modeled a few reference images I've created, and now Im just looking for something a bit more challenging. I could always draw some huge beast with all sorts of weird things to model myself, but if someone else did the reference image, I wouldn't have a picture of how the mesh would look in my head before modeling, and... you get a free model out of it.

So, anyone relatively talented (sorry, not looking for basic drawings here, it'd be awesome if Johny Ree took a stab at this actually) has some spare time / feels inclined, Id really appreciate it if you could have a crack at drawing a reference image of a game character. Can be fantasy, realistic, cartoonish, whatever. Could be a giant minotaur or link's long lost brother. I'll keep it low poly, and Ill texture it. I might even rig it if I have the time / not feeling too rusty on my rigging skills. Ill email you the model in .x, .obj, .dbo, .3ds format, along with several sizes of the texture, the uv map, and a few rendered shots.

I cant guarantee any time frames, or if the model will be perfect in any way.

If you dont want to post the reference here, you can email me it at chiken dash foot at hotmail dot com.

This is all of course assuming anyone gives a poop about me getting to be a better modeler .

Thanks for any help,
- RUC'

Here's one that I drew a couple of months ago.

[EDIT] I remember drawing that more than a couple weeks ago.

Thanks a bunch guys, especially you Jonny. They're all good but I'm going to need to tweak them because I was looking for the standard reference image pose (one from the front with legs slightly apart and arms extended out, one from the side with arms not being shown). I'll have a crack at vectorizing jonny's tonight so I can make a front and side version in flash.

Im actually going to use the human reference image that user thats putting together the reference pack is using. Not that all of these images aren't great (especially Jonny's), but this picture has the correct views and muscle structures.

Sorry for the waste of time.

How about this. I've been helpful in giving you all 3 views. Also try visiting my reference image thread for more references:
