I would like to know if there is a way to record using FPS Creator. I mean, I'm working on a game and I would like to record some footage. I wanna make a preview to the game.

Anyone help me out here? Any reccommended programs to use?

No, you can't record in-game using the XP version of FPSC, you can with FPSC X10. What you can do though is use an external program like FRAPS or GameCam to record in the background. Many people do that to create a preview of their game on YouTube.

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.

Use CamStudio, it is totally free, and works great!

I haven't seen/used anything better than FRAPS so far.

Gamecam is free and interfers with frame rate less than fraps or CamStudio I have used all of the above and many more. That is how I know.

FRAPS doesn't slow down my computer at all. If you use the trial then all you get it that fraps logo at the top, which isn't too intrusive.

Nothing beats AutoScreenRecorder pro 2.1, as it records the whole screen or just a specifed area of the screen. It's great for doing tuts as you can see the mouse and everything. And if recording a game, they always see exactly what is on your screen
