EDIT* Did your 10 year experienced musician wrote the song on that second trailer? I liked it so mutch! It still sounds a little familiar...

Oh okay. I've played the demo many times throught, and yet still that dante scares me. It's just so hard to kill and I run around the laboratory.

EDIT* Found a cheat to the Trement part.

If you read the file according to the "Dante", you can actually see that its name is "Trement", but who cares

"Laboratorio" is laboratory or lab in English.

FREE!!! This is madness...
-Madness??? THIS IS VAGUE! AND IT'S FREE!!! <kick>

Well... I think I'll donate cuz I think that this is so great and you know it too, so you people wont stop making games at this point! You wont right... cuz that would be madness...
- Madness?...
Yeah, yeah, madness! You heard me, now go and let me continue my morning walk!

EDIT* I noticed that your fires don't have any lights coming from them. And you could have put some shelfs in the pharmacy. But it was great game... I mean demo...

And how is this getting so many comments... My game isn't getting almost any comments, even tought I've put some screenies up lately ans a gameplay video and a second trailer in the website.

PS. Read the guestbook on your site.

It's really nice to hear that you'll donate!

Yeah, the full game will have light around the fires, I forgot to put them in the demo for some reason (I'm gettin old )

About the comments. Well, if you look at when the first post was made (July 2007), I think this thread has pretty small amount of comments considering the time this thread's been around here. If you give your thread time, and maybe lots and lots of screenshots, I'm sure that your thread will get pretty much comments.

Oh... Yeah. I didn't understand to check the date... LoL.

Maby could use sprite pack's water. It might look better. But that is cool too. I don't know. Oh and in the one diary in the seweres, the writer is some Callahan. My cousins are Callahan too! LoL.

As far as I've checked, the sprite pack's water looks like the water is very "undeep", meaning that the bottom looks like the water isn't very deep. And ha, nice coincidence

Oh yeah. Now when you said that, you're right. It looks kinda pure water in some clean water place, not in seweres. So yeah go with your water.

EDIT* How do you get those shadows? My st<tic entities are not showing any kind of shadows... And what's your ambience level?

Go to your setup.ini and put lightmapquality = 100 or 50. I'm using 0 as ambience.

When I change lightmapquality, it just says that I can't save it. It says that:
Tiedostoa C:\Program Files\The Game Creators \Fps Creator\setup.ini ei voi luoda.
Tarkista, että polku ja tiedostonimi ovat oikein.

What does that mean? Did you have that problem. I just typed in the lightmapquality place number 100, and saved and I got that error. Sorry don't know how to say that in english.

Damn! Now I'm starting to hate vista. But I think it's just some security setting or something, that can be changed. At least I hope so.

I love Vague! And it's making me feel guilty for even thinking of selling my game, becouse you are giving it away for free... So that's a great thing and a bad thing. More of a great thing! And how do you do custom backgrounds? When I do custom backgrounds, it just turns out black and my cursor leavesw a trace behind it...

Hmmm... Maby if I give away the first part, and then when The second part is ready I'll sell it and hmm, hmm, hmm... Would I get mor money then?

Plz answer my background problem, cuz I don't like to use those "stock" bckgrounds...

I really can't help you with the background thing. I just put the picture there and it's all fine. Make sure it's .png and not transparent (pure black). That's all I can think of.

Yeah, I know. But I got this one idea... Hope you haven't already noticed that... If you have model pack 1, I have one idea for you.

Take the sceleton from ww2 furniturea place. And put it in your map. Then you cover it with gips an all that kind of gore!

I'm using that too, but if you want to use it, go ahead. It's not the most original idea, but it's an idea!

Okay I have some good news and bad news.

Bad news: My PC broke down, and all Vague files are most likely gone. There's no word to describe how pissed off I am right now. Three years work gone in one blink of an eye. I will most likely give up with FPSC.

Good news: (for Vague "fans" at least): Vague is not dead. I will completely redo the game with my friends by coding. So you will see a brand new Vague some day.

I will propably not leave these forums. Moderator, could you please lock this thread? Thank you.

Oh! Noh! Wait! What! Uh! Gah! No! Blh! Wah! Bag! No! It can't be! It just can't! I wonder how you will do it... You know... This is for real, but I'm suffering of holding my tears! FOR REAL! 3 YEARS!

But if your gonna re-do it someway, I suggest you to save all your files into some memory stick... That when your PC breaks, you will have all the files in the stick...

You know, I came to the forums and like you said to wait for some semi-big, I saw that you posted here and I was like: "Oh yeah! It's happening now!" But everything is gone!

Oh my god... This was the most anticipated game at this point for me... And... Um... Oh god! Well. The best luck with re-do. Uhhhh... Well, I think that you must be 100 times more upset than me, cuz it was 3 years...

That remids me of saving my files into a stick... I don't want Planet Hell to be all gone, if my comp breaks down! Well, at least PH is only something like... 10 month work. So it wouldn't even be such a shock (maby only for me).

That's me...

Thank you very much for your comment Metal Devil. It's nice to hear that even somebody waited the game. But no need to be upset, there WILL be a new and way better Vague with same story, only the engine is different. If you want to stay in touch and maybe ask something about Vague (old or new) just add me on msn: juz_the_dude AT hotmail DOT com

Thanks guys! Hmm.. when we get Vague to a point, where we can show screenshots, am I allowed to post it on the geek board or something? Or are these boards only for DarkBasic and FPSC.

Im pretty sure you can still post it in the Program Announcements board, i don't think its restricted to DB n FPSC. And if you can't post it there, you will most defently be able to post it in Geek Culture.

Anyways, good luck on recreating Vague.
