Man this brings back memories... I started out on a BBC model B back in the 80's, my Dad kinda wanted me to program so when I was 8 I was copying code from a book, I think it was called '36 challenging games for the BBC Micro', as I recall there weren't actually 36, at least in my copy...

Anywhoose I kinda lost interest at the time and did other stuff, then a few years ago I took computing at school and had to write a piece of psudo-business software using either Visual Basic or QBasic, I plumped for the latter since I like getting right to the code, finished the course and forgot about programmng again for a couple years, then saw DBC in my local friendly games shop and got a copy and have been hooked again for the last year or so, including an upgrade to DBP x-d
