I have written a small tool using ConvSEO which makes converting Google Sketchup models to Darkbasic Professional much easier, read more and download it from this Thread:

Sorry for the slow reply.

No you do not need ConvSEO, the program will run fine without it.

The source code is provided, you will of course need ConvSEO (and BlueGUI) if you want to compile it.
